How We Get Your Products on US Shelves

Most international brands take 2–3 years to enter US retail — and many never make it. AisleBridge does it in 90–180 days. Here's how.

1
Brand Assessment & Category Fit
We evaluate your product line, packaging, certifications, and price points against current US buyer requirements. Within 5 business days you receive a written assessment of which retail channels — Walmart, Costco, specialty, regional — your brand is realistically positioned for.
2
FDA Registration & Customs Compliance
Our in-house compliance team handles FDA facility registration, labeling review, US customs documentation, and import bond setup. We've cleared over 500 shipments at Los Angeles, Long Beach, and Houston ports — with zero compliance holds on record.
3
Buyer Introduction & Negotiation
We don't cold-call buyers. We leverage 15 years of direct relationships with category managers at Walmart, Kroger, Costco, Target, and 36 other retail chains. We prepare your buyer presentation, negotiate shelf placement, and handle all back-and-forth so your team focuses on production.
4
Port-to-Shelf Logistics
Once a purchase order is issued, we coordinate ocean freight, port clearance, warehousing near the port of LA, and last-mile delivery to retail distribution centers — including cross-docking, EDI purchase order management, UPC setup, and retail-compliant labeling and packaging.
5
Ongoing Sales & Shelf Management
Getting on the shelf is the beginning. We track sell-through rates, manage reorders, handle retailer chargebacks, coordinate promotions, and proactively pursue new SKU placements and category expansions. Your dedicated account manager reviews performance with you monthly.

Frequently Asked Questions

Everything international brands ask before working with us.

How long does it take to get my product into a US retail chain?
For most brands, 90–180 days from signed agreement to first purchase order — assuming your product already meets FDA and labeling requirements. Category and retailer complexity can affect timing. Walmart and Costco typically move faster than specialty chains. We give you a realistic timeline estimate in your initial brand assessment.
What product categories do you work with?
We currently work across 9 categories: electronics & smart home, beverages & functional drinks, specialty foods, health & wellness, home goods & storage, tools & hardware, personal care, seasonal & outdoor, and school & office supplies. If your category isn't listed, contact us — we may be expanding.
Do I need my products to be FDA registered before you can help?
No — we handle FDA facility registration and labeling compliance as part of our onboarding process. Our compliance team reviews your product's regulatory status in the first week and prepares everything needed for import clearance. We've successfully cleared 500+ shipments without a single compliance hold.
How does AisleBridge make money — do you charge a flat fee or commission?
Our model is performance-based. We earn a percentage of wholesale revenue generated through placements we secure — meaning our incentives are fully aligned with yours. There are no upfront retainers or setup fees. We only succeed when your products sell.
What's the minimum order size retailers require?
It varies by chain. Specialty and regional retailers typically start at $10,000–$25,000 per order. Walmart, Costco, and Target require minimum $50,000 per order. Our Retail Network directory lists minimum order requirements for all 40 chains we work with, so you can plan your production capacity accordingly.
How are US-China tariffs affecting your clients in 2025–2026?
It depends on the product category. Our trade team actively reviews Section 301 tariff classifications, first-sale valuation opportunities, and bonded warehouse strategies for every client. Many brands are finding the US market still viable with proper duty optimization — particularly in categories where US retail margins absorb the tariff cost.
Do you require exclusivity? Can I work with other US distributors?
We request category exclusivity for the retail channels we actively develop for you — this is necessary to negotiate with buyers effectively. We don't prevent you from selling through your own website, Amazon, or other e-commerce channels. Terms are discussed during initial brand assessment.
